KSIP : doubts about the correctness of the collection and sharing of data contained in the register

W toku codziennej służby funkcjonariusze Policji gromadzą setki informacji o obywatelach. Są one rejestrowane, a następnie przechowywane w Krajowym Systemie Informacyjnym Policji, który został stworzony w celu ochrony bezpieczeństwa ludzi oraz utrzymywania bezpieczeństwa publicznego i porządku publicznego. Policja co jakiś czas weryfikuje, czy dane zgromadzone w KSIP są nadal niezbędne do należytego wykonywania jej ustawowych zadań. Jeżeli informacja okazuje się zbędna, organy Policji usuwają ją z systemu. Jeżeli zaś informacja okazuje się niezbędna, to pozostaje ona w systemie aż do weryfikacji, podczas której zostanie stwierdzona jej zbędność. Zdarza się, że informacje jeszcze niezweryfikowane lub takie, które nie zostały usunięte podczas systemu weryfikacji dotyczą skazania, które uległo już zatarciu. Czy ich przechowywanie jest zgodne z instytucją zatarcia skazania? Dalej idąc, czy udostępnienie takich informacji jest zgodne z instytucją zatarcia skazania oraz czy przechowywanie tych informacji jawi się jako niezbędne?

During everyday duty the Police officers gather all the necessary information about the citizens. The information are registered and stored in the registry named "Krajowy System Informacyjny Policji". The Police periodically verify whether the whole data stored in this registry are still necessary and valuable in order to perform their statutory tasks. If the information turns out to be unnecessary the Police remove it from the registry. On the other hand, if the information appears to be necessary, it remains in the registry until the verification which could shows that this information is redundant. Sometimes happens that information which are still unverified or those which were not removed in the process of verification relate to the institution of expungement. Whether the storage of such information is consistent with the institution of expungement of sentence?
