Abstract in English
The present article considers a thematic framework within the study of Portuguese language and literature, delimited, among others, by the following key terms and concepts: “language”, cultural forces of “integration” and “disintegration”, “identity capital”, “universal language”, “Lusophony”. An attempt will be made to support the notion that the conception of a linguistic community requires the study of the notion of “plurality”.

Procurarei desenvolver uma reflexão sobre um quadro temático no âmbito do estudo da língua e literatura portuguesas, quadro esse delimitado, entre outros, por termos e conceitos centrais no que a esta esfera diz respeito: “língua”, forças culturais de “integração” e de “desintegração”, “capital identitário”, "língua universal", "lusofonia". Procurarei fortificar a noção segundo a qual a conceção de uma Comunidade linguística obriga ao equacionamento da noção de "pluralidade".
