The traditional didactic themes for priests : in "The Didactic Gospel" by Kyrylo Tranquillon Stavrovetsky : continuity and changes

Cyryl Trankwilion Stavroveckij's Uczytelnoje Jewanhelije made a significant contribution to the reform of the Orthodox Church in the early 17th century. In this paper, we show that preacher calling for renewal of the intellectual, disciplinary and ethical in the metropolitanate of Kiev undertook a number of threads that far (and even long afterwards) were the subject of teaching addressed by bishop to priests (mainly synodal and of chirotony). It is significant that the moralist, very often gave to them new interpretation: raising ethical issues, he most strongly linked it with the problem of priestly teaching. Similar recognition of the problems can be seen in later teachings for priests.

"Євангеліє учительне" Кирила Транквіліона Ставровецького було значним внеском у реформування Церкви XVII ст. В статті показано, що проповідник закликаючи до інтелектуального, дисциплінарного та етичного оновлення, заторкував ряд тем, які до цього часу (і надалі) були предметом єрарших повчань, адресованих священикам (м.ін. синодальних та хіротоні). Однак мораліст акценти розставляє по-іншому, ніж його попередники: заторкуючи етичну проблематику, міцно пов'язує її з проблемою священичого навчання. Подібні підходи можна зауважити у пізніших повчаннях для священиків.
