Przedmiotem artykułu jest przedstawienie problemu "umierania", czyli ostatnich chwil życia człowieka w ujęciu filozoficznym i prawnym. Autorka w swoich rozważaniach koncentruje się głównie na problemie "uporczywej terapii" oraz stawia pytanie o to, co jest źródłem prawa do godnej śmierci, a także jak ten problem jest ujmowany w koncepcjach etycznych, zwłaszcza w etyce chrześcijańskiej.
Abstract in English
This article concerns the issue of "dying", analyzing the last moment of a dying human from legal and philosophical perspective. Author in her thoughts predominantly puts focus about futile medical care. Inquiries are drawn in the search for the source of the right to die and also how this issue is recognized in ethical concepts, in particular in Christian ethics.
