The aim of this article is to shortly describe the thesis of the linguistic worldview, as well as to present basic information on the development and the structure of Chinese characters, and finally, to reconstruct the linguistic view of fire embedded in the Chinese script through the analysis of the characters with the semantic component 火 huǒ 'fire'.

Celem niniejszego artykułu jest przybliżenie czytelnikowi tezy o językowym obrazie świata, zaprezentowanie podstawowych informacji na temat rozwoju i budowy chińskich znaków oraz zrekonstruowanie językowego obrazu ognia utrwalonego w piśmie chińskim na podstawie analizy znaków z kluczem semantycznym 火 huǒ 'ogień'.
