The application of music in education through art, with a focus on religious songs

The objective of this research is to show that the use of music as an educational tool has an unknown potential that can and should be used. In an analysis of the musical texts of polish religious songs, esthetic and artistic values began to emerge. This research shows that religious music can be used specifi cally in esthetic education (education through art) to evoke in students these values in the same way that any music evokes feelings in humanity. The Musical Culture of the Current Generation: Education Through Art Music, as one of the fine arts, plays an important role in esthetic education (education through arts). Intellectual creativity is infl uenced by participation in activities that rely on music and culture to educate. This article presents the musical culture of the current generation and also looks at the present situation of education in Poland and how this esthetic education is not being used to its full potential.
