Magnetic heart vector and its potential use in magnetocardiography

dc.abstract.enA new method of magnetocardiograms presentation bas been developed. The basis of the method is the average magnetic fi eld vector calculated from the map of extracorporeal magnetic fi eld of the heart, generated by cellular ionic currents. An ion current source similar to the shape of “W” letter is defi ned. The average magnetic fi eld vector (AMFV) from this source is calculated and plotted as a form of trajectory. The trajectory shape contains serial information about electrical functioning of the heart. It may be used for diagnostics of the ion conduction in the heart.pl
