Time, existence and non-existence in the poetic reflections of Andrzej Busza

The essay presents the latest English poems of Andrzej Busza, in which the writer analyses the phenomenon of existence/non-existence of a being after death. The poet juxtaposes two conflicting ways of perceiving the aforementioned problem - the empirical and metaphysical one. Busza's literary attempt to understand the phenomeon of death, is integrally related to the question of God's existence. Poetic reflections have been presented with reference to the selected philosophical ideas, and first and feremost, to the existential philosophy of Jean-Paul Sartre, witch corresponds with the ontic consideraions of Andrzej Busza, presented in his numerous poems.
