The expressiveness of the language of the hip-hop subculture

W niniejszym artykule opisano ekspresywność języka subkultury hip-hopowej. Opierając się na teorii socjolektów, zaproponowanej przez Stanisława Grabiasa, autorka pokazała, że język członków subkultury hip-hopowej cechuje ekspresywność. Opisując ów język, autorka analizowała przede wszystkim teksty utworów muzycznych wykonywanych przez raperów, a także wypowiedzi twórców muzyki rap i innych członków subkultury hip-hopowej, które zostały zamieszczone na stronach internetowych.

In this article the author described the expressiveness of the language of the hip-hop subculture. Based on the theory of the sociolect, proposed by Stanisław Grabias, the author of the article showed that expressiveness characterizes the language of members of the hip-hop subculture. It will achieve this by exploring of the texts of the songs of the rappers, analysing of the interviews with the members of the hip-hop subculture and of the commentaries on the Internet of the members of the hip-hop subculture.
