| abstract in Polish: | Artykuł prezentuje twórczość nieznanej w Polsce artystki Sibylle von Olfers, która bywa porównywana z Elsą Beskow. Autorka zestawia z sobą dzieła Niemki i Szwedki. Skupia się na najistotniejszych różnicach, takich jak: kreacja bohatera dziecięcego, rola przyrody i motywów florystycznych, model kulturowy i pozycja postaci kobiecych oraz symbolika. Porównanie ukazuje bogactwo i niepowtarzalność wyobraźni artystycznej Sibylle von Olfers oraz złożoność motywu roślin, kwiatów, wróżek i skrzatów w twórczości dla dzieci z początku XX wieku. |
| abstract in English: | The article presents the unknown in Poland artistic work of Sibylle von Olfers who sometimes is put together with Elsa Beskow. The author compares works of both artists. She focuses on important differences, so as: the creation of the children’s hero, the role of the nature and floristic motives, the cultural model and the position of women in their books and the symbolism. The comparison is showing the wealth and the uniqueness of Sibylle von Olfers’ artistic imagination and the complexity of the motive of plants, flowers, fairies and dwarfs in the literature for children in the beginning of the 20th century. |
