Udział w Księdze Jubileuszowej dedykowanej Pani Profesor Marceli Świątkowskiej jest dla mnie okazją do zbadania tego szczególnego gatunku. Próbuję przedstawić Miscellanea jako gatunek dyskursywny. Po krótkim rysie historycznym pokazuję, że jest to gatunek dyskursu naukowego o szczególnej scenografii, skonstruowanej wokół dwóch strategii: świętowania i daru. Strategie te są widoczne zarówno w paratekście, jak i w tekście zasadniczym, czyli zbiorze artykułów dedykowanych Jubilatce.

Abstract in English

My contribution to the present collection of studies in Honour of Professor Marcela Świątkowska is an attempt to examine one particular genre. I am trying to present Miscellanea as a discursive genre. After a short historical survey I show that it is a kind of academic discourse with its own mise en scene constructed in terms of two strategies: celebration and gift. These strategies are to be seen both in the paratext and in the main text, that is, in the body of the essays dedicated to Professor Świątkowska.
