abstract in English:
The interrogation mark in the title of this article suggests that the intersemiotic translation proceedings used in the movie "A Chronicle of Amorous Incidents" are relatively rare and irrelevant. As the author of both the book and the movie script, Tadeusz Konwicki mainly used the dialogues and action scenes from the book's plot at the expense of the philosophical meditations, many comments by the narrator and many intermediate scenes of local folklore which were difficult (or impossible) to adapt. Some fragments deliberately suppressed from the movie script seem to be more interesting. In the book, they showed secondary and unpleasant characters, and tragic or gloomy episodes. We can then conclude that the film is rather a pastiche of a novel for young readers, as it omits most of the dark atmosphere of the original.
