Astrologia, choć powszechnie postrzegana wyłącznie jako zestaw fałszywych przekonań, ma długą historię wpływania na kształtujące się idee. Niniejsza praca ma na celu przywrócenie prawdziwego obrazu astrologii jako ważnego fenomenu kulturowego i zrozumienia jej wpływu na psychologię. Przedstawia podstawy astrologii, jej historyczny rozwój i ewolucję, również w kontekście New Age, gdzie odkryła swój humanistyczny i psychologiczny potencjał. Poświęca uwagę działalności dwóch nonkonformistów psychologii, Carla Gustava Junga i Jamesa Hillmana, którzy wykorzystali astrologię jako źródło inspiracji do tworzenia swoich koncepcji psychologicznych. Ostatecznie autorka przygląda się związkom astrologii i psychologii w kontekście metody naukowej i pojęcia duszy.

Astrology, although commonly perceived solely as a collection of false beliefs, has a long history of influencing new ideas. This paper aims to restore the true image of astrology as a significant cultural phenomenon and to understand its impact on psychology. It presents the foundations of astrology, its historical development and evolution, including its role in the New Age movement, where it discovered humanistic and psychological potential. It looks at the work of two nonconformist psychologists, Carl Gustav Jung and James Hillman, who used astrology as a source of inspiration for their psychological concepts. Ultimately, the author examines the relationships between astrology and psychology in the context of the scientific method and the concept of the soul.
