Niniejsza praca licencjacka jest poświęcona interdyscyplinarnym badaniom z zakresu onomastyki i historii. Badania dotyczą rozważań nad przydomkami monarchów francuskich. Za pomocą metody statystycznej w pracy pojawia się próba wyjaśnienia frekwencji pojawiania się przydomków w różnych epokach historycznych. Różnorodne pola semantyczne, które możemy odnaleźć wśród przydomków, wskazują na szczególne wartości kulturowe (np. religia, zdolności wojskowe czy cnoty moralne), szczególnie hołubione w danych okresach historycznych.

The Bachelor’s thesis presents an interdisciplinary research in the field of onomastics and history. The conducted research entails the royal surnames of French kings. By using statistics there appears a try to demonstrate the frequency of surnames in a historical period. Diverse semantic fields that can be found throughout history of the surnames (ex. g. religion, military skills or moral qualities) indicate special cultural values, particularly fondled in a historical period.

Le mémoire de licence proposé présente une étude interdisciplinaire dans les champs de l’onomastique et de l’histoire et est consacrée aux surnoms des monarques français. À l’aide de la méthode statistique le travail propose d’expliquer la fréquence des surnoms aux différentes époques. Les divers champs sémantiques dont relèvent les surnoms analysés indiquent certaines valeurs culturelles (p. ex. la religion, les compétences militaires ou les qualités morales) particulièrement appréciées au cours de l’histoire.
