Electronic banking as an innovation in the banking services market

Przedmiotem rozważań w tej pracy było zagadnienie bankowości elektronicznej. Celem prowadzonych w tej pracy analiz było przedstawienie usług bankowych jako innowacji na rynku. W ramach podjętych działań przeprowadzono m.in analizę historyczną pozwalającą ukazać rozwój tego typu bankowości w Polsce i na świecie. Analiza materiałów źródłowych okazała się pomocna podczas prezentacji aktów prawnych powiązanych z bankowością elektroniczną. Na potrzeby tej pracy zorganizowano także badania ankietowe, dzięki którym poznano m.in motywy korzystania z usług bankowości elektronicznej. Realizacja tak sformułowanego celu pozwoliła udowodnić tezę, zgodnie z którą bankowość elektroniczna zyskuje coraz większą popularność z powodu szerokiej oferty usług oraz wygody korzystania z nich.

The subject of consideration in this work was the issue of electronic banking. The aim of the analyzes conducted in this work was to characterize electronic banking in Poland. As part of the actions taken, i.a. historical analysis to show the development of this type of banking in Poland and in the world. The analysis of source materials will be helpful during the presentation of legal acts related to electronic banking. For the purposes of this work, a survey will also be organized, thanks to which, among others, motives for using electronic banking services. The implementation of the objective formulated in this way allowed to prove the thesis that electronic banking is gaining more and more popularity due to the wide range of services and the convenience of using them.
