Crisis ordinariness, intimate spaces, experience of the loneliness and loss in the poetry of Mila Elin

Niniejsza praca licencjacka zawiera analizę doświadczenia alienacji i utraty dawnego bliskiego w poezji Mili Elin. W pierwszym rozdziale na podstawie dostępnej epistolografii opisano mechanizmy oraz akty wykluczania Elinówny z awangardowego dyskursu. W drugim rozdziale Autorka przywołuje arachnologiczną koncepcję Nancy K. Miller w celu ukazania splotu doznania samotności persony lirycznej z osobistymi doświadczeniami poetki. Istotne w tym miejscu okazują się badania dotyczące codzienności i intymności Lauren Berlant. W trzeciej części pracy zwrócono uwagę na elementy tanatyczno-erotyczne, motyw żałoby oraz występującą w utworach figurę listu. Pod koniec rozdziału Autorka pisze o (getto)izolacji oraz zadaje pytanie: dlaczego po 1935 roku brak jakichkolwiek informacji o działalności literackiej pisarki? Celem pracy było ukazanie subwersywnego potencjału tej poezji oraz performatywnego gestu oporu Elinówny.

This bachelor’s thesis contains an analysis of the experience of alienation and loss of a former loved one in the poetry of Mila Elin’s. The first chapter, based on epistolography, describes the mechanisms and acts of Elinówna's exclusion from the avant-garde discourse. In the second chapter, the author invokes the arachnological concept of Nancy K. Miller in order to show the entanglement of the lyrical persona's experience of loneliness with the poet's personal experiences. The third part of the work focuses on thanatic and erotic elements, the theme of mourning and the figure of a letter appearing in the works. At the end of the chapter, the author writes about (ghetto)isolation and asks the question: why is there no information about the writer's literary activity after 1935? The aim of the work was to show the subversive potential of this poetry and Elinówna's performative gesture of resistance.
