The role of the defense industry in Poland's security policy.

W pracy podjęto próbę omówienia roli przemysłu zbrojeniowego na politykę bezpieczeństwa Rzeczypospolitej Polskiej. Pracę podzielono na 3 rozdziały. W rozdziale pierwszym omówiono polską politykę bezpieczeństwa narodowego, koncepcję strategiczną NATO oraz działania Unii Europejskiej na rzecz obrony. Omówiono także różnice między polskim przemysłem obronnym a przemysłem zbrojeniowym, stan Sił Zbrojnych RP oraz dokonano analizy ustawy O obronie Ojczyzny. W rozdziale drugim dokonano próby scharakteryzowania przemysłu zbrojeniowego pod względem ekonomicznym określono problemy tegoż przemysłu. W rozdziale trzecim przybliżono skutki oraz perspektywy zaangażowania przemysłu zbrojeniowego w polską politykę bezpieczeństwa. Dokonano próby określenia roli polskiego przemysłu zbrojeniowego w ramach „Planów Modernizacji Technicznej”. Opisano także kluczowe projekty zlecone przez Ministerstwo Obrony Narodowej.

The attempt has been made in this work to discuss the role of the defense industry in shaping the security policy of the Republic of Poland. The work is divided into three chapters. In the first chapter, Polish national security policy, NATO's strategic concept, and the actions of the European Union in defense are discussed. The differences between the Polish defense industry and the armaments industry, the state of the Polish Armed Forces, and an analysis of the Defense of the Homeland Act are also covered. The second chapter attempts to characterize the defense industry from an economic perspective and identify its problems. The third chapter examines the consequences and prospects of the defense industry's involvement in Polish security policy. An attempt is made to define the role of the Polish defense industry within the framework of "Technical Modernization Plans." It also describes key projects commissioned by the Ministry of National Defense.
