The work provides basic information on anthropometry and provides an overview of the basic techniques for measuring remains, as well as the definitions that apply in this field. The core of the work is an analysis of the various techniques and methods that enable the identification of human remains and help identify criminals or missing persons. The analysis of the various identification methods was carried out taking into account anthropometric survey techniques. The work presents both opportunities and threats to the chosen identification method.
