Copernican collections in the Jagiellonian Library

Artykuł prezentuje najważniejsze rękopisy i stare druki związane z osobą Mikołaja Kopernika znajdujące się w zbiorach Biblioteki Jagiellońskiej. Najcenniejszym obiektem jest autograf dzieła "De revolutionibus" oraz najstarsze druki tego dzieła: dwa z 1543 r., cztery z 1566 i jeden z 1617. Ponadto w Bibliotece Jagiellońskiej przechowywany jest druk zatytułowany "Narratio prima" autorstwa Kopernika, rycina przedstawiająca niezachowane epitafium z grobu astronoma i kilka pomniejszych dzieł uczonego.

The article presents the most important manuscripts and early-printed books which espouse with Nicolaus Copernicus, which are kept in the collections of the Jagiellonian Library. The most valuable item is the autograph of the work "De revolutionibus" and the oldest printed versions of it: two from 1543, four from 1566 and one from 1617. What is more in the Jagiellonian Library the is also the print entitled "Narratio prima" written by Copernicus, a graphic of unpreserved epitaph from the astronomer's grave, and a few minor works of the intellectual.
