FAMILIES BEFORE AND TODAY ON THE EXAMPLE OF ZAKOPANE AND SURROUNDINGS. INTERGENERATIONAL ANALYSIS

Praca prezentuje badania własne, dokumenty historyczne oraz przegląd literatury przedmiotu dotyczącej występowania rodów na terenie Zakopanego i okolic. Celem pracy jest teoretyczne i empiryczne ujęcie rodu i rodziny na przestrzeni lat, przybliżenie regionu Podhala w kontekście tradycji, kultury i obrzędowości, ukazanie metodologicznych uwarunkowań przeprowadzonych przeze mnie badań jakościowych i analiza zgromadzonego materiału badawczego. Rody i rodziny góralskie stoją przedwyzwaniem narastających zmian społecznych i problemem identyfikacji jednostek do rodzimej grupy. Wynikiem badań jest portret światopoglądowy członków rodu. Rozwiązaniami wstępujących problemów jest skorzystanie z wiedzy starszych pokoleń dotyczących tradycji, zmianę samej świadomości Górali oraz próba zainteresowania młodszych pokoleń podmiotem jakim jest ich kultura i dotychczasowy dorobek przodków, jednakże te zadania wymagają uwagi oraz pielęgnacji ze strony wszystkich członków rodowitej góralszczyzny, niezależnie od przynależności pokoleniowej.

The work presents own research, historical documents and a review of the literature on the occurrence of families in Zakopane and the surrounding area. The aim of the work is a theoretical and empirical approach to the family over the years, to bring the Podhale region closer in the context of tradition, culture and rituals, to show the methodological conditions of the qualitative research I conducted and to analyze the collected researchmaterial. Highlander families and families are facing the challenge of increasing social changes and the problem of identifying individuals with their native group. The result of the research is a worldview portrait of the family members. The solutions to the emerging problems are to take advantage of the older generations' knowledge of tradition, to changethe awareness of the Highlanders themselves and to try to interest the younger generations in the subject which is their culture and the achievements of their ancestors, however, these tasks require attention and care from all members of the native highlanders, regardless of generational affiliation.
