Autorka wskazuje różne sposoby rozumienia pojęcia "nowa kinofilia" w wybranych francuskich tekstach teoretycznych i krytycznych. Perspektywa ta wydaje się szczególnie in-teresująca, gdyż termin "kinofilia" pojawił się na gruncie francuskim, a nawet paryskim, w latach 50. XX w. (okres polityki autorskiej), w dzisiejszych czasach natomiast jest używany szeroko także poza granicami Francji, bardzo często z dookreśleniem "nowa". Związane jest to z wyło-nieniem się innych form kinofilii i przeciwstawieniem ich "staremu" modelowi, choć owa nowość nie zawsze jest wartościowana dodatnio. Szczególnie wyrazistym przy-kładem postawy krytycznej był artykuł Louisa Skoreckiego "Przeciw nowej kinofilii" publikowany już w roku 1978. Autorka zwraca uwagę na związki nowej kinofilii z dyspozytywem i pojawieniem się nowych form uczestnictwa w życiu fil-mowym. Druga część artykułu dotyczy koncepcji Arnauda Guigue’a, który proponuje zastąpienie problematycznego terminu określeniem "kinofilia szerokokątna".

The article concerns different understandings of the term "new cinephilia" in selected French theoretical and cri-tical texts. The French perspective seems particularly in-teresting here, as the term "cinephilia" emerged in France, specifically in Paris, in the 1950s (the period of authorial policy), while nowadays it is also widely used outside France, very often accompanied by the qualifier "new". This fact is linked to the emergence of other forms of cinephilia and their opposition to the "old" model; however, what is new is not always evaluated as positive. A particularly vivid example, dating back to 1978, is Louis Skorecki’s article "Against the New Cinephilia". The author of the present article also draws attention to the links between the new cinephilia, the dispositif, and the emergence of new forms of film participation. She concludes with a presentation of the concept of Arnaud Guigue, who proposes to replace the problematic term with "wide-angle cinephilia".
