Managing the organization of sports events on the example of the football club Podbeskidzie Bielsko-Biala

Celem niniejszej pracy magisterskiej jest przedstawienie zarządzania organizacją masowych imprez sportowych na przykładzie Towarzystwa Sportowego Podbeskidzie Bielsko-Biała S.A. W ramach podjętych rozważań autor postanowił przedstawić rozwój wybranego klubu na przestrzeni lat, jego strukturę zarządczą oraz zasadniczy element infrastruktury stadionowej, a także zweryfikować, jakie komponenty wpływają na efektywną organizację meczów piłkarskich na Stadionie Miejskim w Bielsku-Białej. Wnioski autora zostały wzbogacone poprzez wybrane metody badawcze, w tym przeprowadzony wywiad ekspercki z Prezesem TS Podbeskidzie S.A. oraz badanie ankietowe, zrealizowane wśród 103 respondentów – uczestników imprez sportowych na analizowanym obiekcie. Dzięki temu można było potwierdzić, że mecze piłkarskie są organizowane w sposób fachowy, z poszanowaniem założeń ustawy o bezpieczeństwie imprez masowych oraz przepisów polskiej i europejskiej federacji piłkarskiej, a kibice czują się na terenie obiektu bezpiecznie. Znaczna część ankietowanych w udostępnionym sondażu diagnostycznym wskazała, że najważniejszym atutem Stadionu Miejskiego jest jego nowoczesność i lokalizacja. Dodatkowo za sprawą otrzymanych odpowiedzi w pytaniach otwartych, przygotowanych na potrzeby kwestionariusza ankiety, udało się sformułować elementy, wymagające usprawnienia w celu zapewnienia pełnej satysfakcji kibicom Podbeskidzia.

The aim of this master's thesis is to present the management of the organisation of mass sports events on the example of the sports association Podbeskidzie Bielsko-Biała S.A. Within the framework of the considerations undertaken, the author decided to present the development of the selected club over the years, its management structure and the essential element of the stadium infrastructure, as well as to verify which components influence the effective organisation of football matches at the Municipal Stadium in Bielsko-Biała. The author's conclusions were enriched by selected research methods, including an expert interview with the President of TS Podbeskidzie S.A. and a questionnaire survey conducted among 103 respondents - participants of sporting events at the analysed facility. Thanks to this, it was possible to confirm that these football matches are organised in a professional manner, respecting the assumptions of the Act on Safety of Mass Events and the regulations of the Polish and European football federations, and that fans feel safe at the venue. A significant proportion of respondents in the survey indicated that the most important asset of the City Stadium is its modernity and location. In addition, through the responses received to the open-ended questions prepared for the survey questionnaire, it was possible to formulate the elements that require improvement to ensure full satisfaction of Podbeskidzie fans.
