Young human in psychological crisis based on No longer human by Osamu Dazai and The Bell Jar by Sylvia Plath.

Celem niniejszej pracy jest dokonanie analizy przebiegu kryzysu u młodego człowieka na podstawie Zatracenia Osamu Dazaia oraz Szklanego kloszu Sylvii Plath, a tym samym zwrócenie uwagi na powszechność problemu występowania chorób psychicznych u dzieci i młodzieży.W pierwszym rozdziale podano słownikowe definicje kryzysu oraz jego rodzaje wyodrębnione przez badaczy i psychiatrów. Omówione zostają także mechanizmy obronne i sposoby radzenia sobie z problemem przełomu w życiu. Drugi rozdział poświęcony został metodologii badań - zaprezentowano cele i etapy interpretowania tekstu literackiego oraz sposoby interpretacji psychologicznej. W trzecim rozdziale zaprezentowano stosunek autorów do kryzysu psychicznego poprzez analizę tytułów powieści. Omówiono także występowanie elementów autobiograficznych w obu dziełach. W ostatnim rozdziale ukazano rozwój i przebieg choroby psychicznej oraz mechanizmy obronne podejmowane przez bohaterów analizowanych powieści. Zostają przedstawione podobieństwa pomiędzy nimi.

The aim of this thesis is to analyze the course of a crisis in a young person on the basis of No longer human by Osamu Dazai and The Bell Jar by Sylvia Plath., and thus draw attention to the prevalence of the problem of children and adolescents' mental illness.The first chapter gives dictionary definitions of crisis and its types as distinguished by researchers and psychiatrists. Defense mechanisms and ways of coping with the breakthrough in life are also discussed. The second chapter is devoted to research methodology - the goals and stages of interpreting a literary text are presented, as well as methods of psychological interpretation. The third chapter presents the authors' attitude to the psychological crisis by analyzing the titles of the novels. The presence of autobiographical elements in both works was also discussed. The last chapter shows the development and course of mental illness and the defense mechanisms undertaken by the characters in the analyzed novels. The similarities between them are presented.
