The work presents the story of modern Cinderella. Description of the history of the musical, its formation and development. Outline of musical theatre in Poland. Description and analysis of the film "Pretty Woman", and then transfer the story from the screen to the Broadway stage. How the musical was created, its appearance in Europe. An analysis of the performance at the Variété Theatre in Krakow, how faithful the script of a musical play is to the film script.
