Praca dotyczy migracji edukacyjnych studentów z Chińskiej Republiki Ludowej do Australii w latach 2010-2020. Jej celem jest usystematyzowanie wiedzy z zakresu migracji edukacyjnych chińskich studentów do Australii. Liczba studentów z Państwa Środka w Australii w latach 2010-2020 wzrosła z 121 tysięcy do 190 tysięcy osób. Studenci z ChRL chętnie wybierają studia na uniwersytetach australijskich ze względu na wysoki poziom oferowanej edukacji, bliskość geograficzną, możliwość zdobycia umiejętności i kompetencji potrzebnych do zdobycia pracy na wysoce konkurencyjnym chińskim rynku pracy.
The paper contains an analysis of the educational migration of students from the People’s Republic of China to Australia between 2010 and 2020. The aim of this paper is to systematize the knowledge about the educational migration of Chinese students to Australia. The number of students from the Middle Kingdom in Australia increased from 121,000 to 190,000 between 2010 and 2020. Students from PRC choose to study at Australian universities because of their high quality of education, geographical proximity and the opportunity to acquire the skills and abilities they need to find a job in the highly competitive Chinese labour market.
