Food production in European Union countries in the context of the idea of degrowth

Celem pracy jest analiza systemu produkcji żywności w Unii Europejskiej i problemów z nią związanych. Analiza przeprowadzona jest w odniesieniu do idei postwzrostu. Do weryfikacji celu wykorzystano zarówno metody jakościowe i ilościowe, tj. wywiad oraz analizę danych wtórnych. Na potrzeby pracy stworzono również model statystyczny, opisujący zależności między wzrostem temperatury Ziemi, a wybranym czynnikami . Scharakteryzowano produkcje żywności w UE, ukazując jej wady i umożliwiając ocenę podejmowanych działań.

The aim of the study is to analyze the food production system in the European Union and the problems that are related to it. The analysis is carried out in relation to the idea of degrowth. Both qualitative and quantitative methods were used to verify the goal, such as interview and existing data analysis. For the purposes of this study, a statistical model was created to describe the relationship between the increase in the Earth's temperature and selected factors which are significant in regards to topic. The food production in the EU was characterized showing its disadvantages and making it possible to assess the undertaken activites.
