The teenage language in Italy on the example of „Three meters above the sky” of Federico Moccia

Obecna praca licencjacka skoncentruje się na obserwacji języka młodzieżowego w języku włoskim. Analizując różne teksty i artykuły chciałabym pokazać jakim sposobem pojawia się język młodzieżowy we Włoszech, na czym polega jego specyficzność i skąd pochodzą niektóre słowa charakterystyczne dla tej grupy. Praca będzie podzielona na dwie części. Pierwsza z nich skoncentruje się na opisie ogólnym języka młodzieżowego, w drugiej części zaś znajdziemy dokładne przykłady języka młodzieżowego odnalezione w powieści Federica Mocci. Przykłady te będą poddane analizie językowej, odnosząc się do charakterystyk wymienionych w pierwszej części pracy.

The present bachelor thesis will be focused on the observation of the teenage language in Italy. Analyzing various texts and articles I would like to show how appears the teenage language in Italy, in what constitutes his specificity and from where come typical words for this type of group. This thesis will be divided in two parts. The first one will be concerned on the general description of the teenage language, meanwhile in the second part we will find the exact examples of the teenage language founded in the novel of Federico Moccia. The examples taken from the book will be submitted to a linguistic analysis, in relation to the characteristics mentioned in the first part of the thesis.

La presente tesi sarà concentrata sull’osservazione del linguaggio giovanile nella lingua italiana. Analizzando vari testi e articoli vorrei far mostrare come appare il linguaggio giovanile in Italia, in che cosa consiste la sua specificità e da dove provengono alcune parole tipiche per questo gruppo. La tesi sarà divisa in due parti. La prima si concerterà sulla descrizione generale del linguaggio giovanile, nella seconda invece troveremo degli esempi precisi del linguaggio giovanile individuati nel romanzo di Federico Moccia. Gli esempi adotti saranno sottoposti all’analisi linguistica, con riferimento alle caratteristiche indicate nella prima parte della tesi.
