Strategies of memory and non-memory about Konstanty Laszczka. Tropographical case study of managemental actions performed by the Krakow branch of the family and Community Museum of Laszczka in Dobre

Praca stanowi interdyscyplinarną próbę zrozumienia problemu badawczego, który skupia się na idei holistycznego zarządzania pamięcią o artyście. Celem pracy jest interpretatywne poznanie przyczyn działań wielu depozytariuszy pamięci, a w konsekwencji także konkretnych praktyk podtrzymywania i transmitowania dziedzictwa, dorobku artystycznego i wiedzy w wyniku pokrewieństwa i organizowania instytucji publicznej o charakterze biograficznym. W części teoretycznej przedstawiono możliwe pola rozumienia pamięci, mechanizmów niepamięci, strażników pamięci, pamięciologicznych działań instytucjonalnych i nieinstytucjonalnych, a także stwierdzono lukę badawczą w obrębie zarządzania pamięcią o artystach oraz zaproponowano zastosowanie myślenia strategicznego w tymże obszarze. W studium przypadku krakowskiego rzeźbiarza Konstantego Laszczki oraz Społecznego Muzeum Laszczki w Dobrem uwidoczniono złożony proces zarządzania pamięcią. Za pomocą metod jakościowych, a więc narzędzi etnograficznych, antropologii organizacji, tropów historii mówionej, w konsekwencji stworzonego studium przypadku, opracowano strategie pamięci i strategie niepamięci o Laszczce. Kategorie te to pamięciologiczne międzypokoleniowe mechanizmy jednostkowe i grupowe, które wpływają na zachowania strażników pamięci i ich praktyki. Wynik stworzonej na ich bazie analizy pozwolił na wypracowanie kompleksowego modelu ułatwiającego zrozumienie stworzonych zależności, szans strategicznych i możliwości budowy platformy współpracy na wielu polach między różnymi depozytariuszami pamięci.

This thesis is an interdisciplinary endeavor to try to understand the research problem, which focuses on the idea of holistic memory management about the artist. The goal of this thesis is interpretative understanding of the reasons of actions of many memory depositaries and subsequently also the routines of maintaining and transmission of heritage, artistic legacy and knowledge as an outcome of kinship and setting up an public institution biographical in nature. Theoretical part displays possible fields of understanding the term of memory, non-memory, guardians of memory, memoryological actions institutional and not and also sets up perspective upon the research gap in the area of memory management and proposes the usage of strategic thinking in the aforementioned. Case study of Krakowian sculptor Konstanty Laszczka and Community Museum of Laszczka in Dobre highlights the complicated process of memory management. With help of qualitative methods, which contains ethnographical tools, anthropology of organizations, oral history tropes, and in consequence of the finished case study, have been created strategies of memory and non-memory about Laszczka. Those categories are memoryological intergenerational unit and group mechanisms, which influence the behaviour of memory guardians and their actions. Of which analysis allowed to create complex model easifying the understanding of the created correlations, strategic chances and possibilities to build a platform of mutual cooperation on many fields engaging different generations of memory depositaries.
