Celem niniejszej pracy jest wykazanie znaczenia wyroczni w życiu politycznym starożytnych Greków od okresu archaicznego po okres hellenistyczny. Skupiono się głównie na roli wyroczni delfickiej,oraz wspomniano pozostałe istotne wyrocznie i przeprawadzono ogólną charakterystykę tych specyficznych sanktuariów. Pokazano wpływ wyroczni na tworzenie rzeczywistości politycznej i trasformacje z podmiotu w instrument polityczny. Przedstawiono znaczenie wyroczni w Delfach w tworzeniu nowych praw i zakładaniu kolonii. Wykazano role wyroczni podczas wojen toczonych przez Greków. Omówiono relacje łączące wyrocznie z władcami w szczególności z Krezusem, Filipem Macedońskim i Aleksandrem Wielkim. Opisano przyczyny spadku znaczenia wyroczni wśród Greków.
The aim of this work is to show the importance of the oracle in the political life of the ancient Greeks from the archaic period to the Hellenistic period. The focus was mainly on the role of the Delphic oracle, and other important oracles were mentioned and a general description of these specific sanctuaries was made. The influence of the oracle on the creation of political reality and transformation from a subject into a political instrument is shown. The importance of the oracle in Delphi in creating new laws and establishing colonies is presented. The roles of oracles during the wars waged by the Greeks were shown. Relations between oracles and rulers were discussed, in particular with Croesus, Philip of Macedon and Alexander the Great. The reasons for the decline in the importance of the oracle among the Greeks are described.
