From the very beginning, from its foundation by Jesus Christ, the Church has guarded the Gospel. The new evangelization does not have a single, specific definition. The term is derived from the deliberations of the Second Vatican Council. In Poland, it was first used by Pope St. Pope John Paul II. Appropriate tools are needed to proclaim the Gospel. The preachers are helped by the Catholic Church itself, which describes in a simple way how to effectively evangelize. It is summed up in one word: the kerygma, which is the proclamation of the Good News. The kerygma is contained in six points. Both the new evangelization and the kerygma are based on the resurrection of Jesus.
