The Pieniny Castle in the light of archaeological research (including the analysis of ceramics obtained in 1966 and 1976).

Niniejsza praca poświęcona jest stanowisku archeologicznemu jakim jest zamek Pieniny. Została podzielona została na spis treści, wstęp, trzy rozdziały, zakończenie, bibliografię, spis wykresów, spis rycin, spis tabel oraz tablice. We wstępie przybliżono historię badań nad zamkiem Pieniny oraz cel pracy. Jest nim, w oparciu o dane archeologiczne (w tym na bazie materiału wykopaliskowego z lat 1966 i 1976) i historyczne próba uporządkowania i zweryfikowania dotychczasowej wiedzy dotyczącej zamku oraz uściślenie chronologii jego powstania. Aby móc odpowiedzieć na powyższe pytania, w rozdziale pierwszym przybliżono problematykę kulturową oraz polityczną i społeczną doby rozbicia dzielnicowego, a także genezę i rozwój budownictwa fortyfikacyjnego we wczesnym średniowieczu na ziemiach polskich. W kolejnych dwóch rozdziałach dokonana została analiza pozyskanej w latach 1966 i 1976 ceramiki. W zakończeniu natomiast zawarto odpowiedź na pytanie badawcze oraz przedstawiono wnioski autora dotyczące pracy.

This paper concerns an archaeological site of the Pieniny Castle. It is divided into a table of contents, introduction, three chapters, ending, bibliography, list of graphs, list of figures, list of tables and tables with pottery. The introduction presents the history of research on the Pieniny Castle and the purposes of the work. It is based on archaeological (including the excavation material from 1966 and 1976) and a historical data attempt to organize and verify the current knowledge about the castle and to specify the chronology of its construction. In order to be able to answer the above questions, the first chapter presents the cultural, political and social issues during the division of the Polish state as well as the genesis and development of fortification constructions in the early Middle Ages in Poland. The following two chapters analyze the ceramics obtained in 1966 and 1976. At the end, the answer to the research question and the author's conclusions regarding the work were presented.
