Niniejsza praca licencjacka poświęcona jest analizie porównawczej dwóch dzieł poruszających tematykę przymuszenia kobiet do złożenia ślubów kapłańskich: Narzeczonych Alessandro Manzoniego oraz Zakonnicy Denisa Diderota. W części początkowej praca skupia się na podobieństwach w poglądach obu autorów na temat religii oraz Kościoła, a także na przedstawieniu sytuacji kobiet we włoskiej literaturze dziewiętnastowiecznej. W dalszych rozdziałach następuje prezentacja powieści oraz ich głównych bohaterek, zwracając szczególną uwagę na ich usposobienie oraz stosunek do rodziny, wiary i życia w klasztorze.
This bachelor thesis is a comparative analysis of two works dealing with the subject of forcing women against their will to take priestly vows: The Betrothed by Alessandro Manzoni and The nun by Denis Diderot. In the introductory part, the work focuses on the similarities in the views of both authors on the religion and the Church, as well as on the presentation of the situation of women in Italian 19th-century literature. In the following chapters, the novels and their main characters are presented, paying special attention to their disposition and attitude to the family, faith and life in the convent.
Questa tesi di laurea breve, ad impostazione comparata, è dedicata all'analisi di due opere che trattano il tema della monacazione forzata. Si tratta dei romanzi I promessi sposi di Alessandro Manzoni e La religiosa di Denis Diderot. Nella parte introduttiva, il lavoro si concentra sulle somiglianze tra i punti di vista dei due autori sulla religione e sulla Chiesa, nonché sulla presentazione della situazione delle donne nella letteratura italiana dell’Ottocento. Nei capitoli seguenti vengono presentati i romanzi e i loro personaggi principali, prestando una particolare attenzione alla loro disposizione e attitudine alla famiglia, alla fede e alla vita nel monastero.
