Celem niniejszej pracy jest przeanalizowanie, jak w filmach Ariego Astera „Dziedzictwo. Hereditary” oraz „Midsommar. W biały dzień” przedstawiane są kobiece bohaterki. Reżyser wykorzystuje powszechne w filmach grozy archetypy – matki, monstrum, ofiary oraz final girl, jednak modyfikuje je tworząc nowe, nieszablonowe postacie. Autorka pracy porównując, jak zwykle przedstawiane są wymienione modele, stara się uwypuklić różnicę w prezentowaniu kobiet w filmach Astera.
The aim of this thesis is to analyze how in Ari Aster's films "Hereditary” and “Midsommar” female heroines are depicted. The director uses archetypes common in horror films - mothers, monsters, victims and final girls, but modifies them to create new, unconventional characters. Author of the thesis by comparing how these models are usually portrayed, tries to emphasize the difference in presenting women in Aster's films.
