Variability of the climate conditions in Zakopane

W pracy przedstawiono zmiany i zmienność warunków klimatycznych Zakopanego na podstawie przewodnich elementów meteorologicznych takich jak temperatura powietrza i opady atmosferyczne w okresie pomiarowym 1921-2015. W pracy wykorzystano oryginalne wyniki pomiarów meteorologicznych z rozdzielczością dobową. Analiza została dokonana z zastosowaniem podstawowych metod badań zmian klimatu. Szczególną uwagę zwrócono na wieloletnie trendy zmian i występowanie wartości ekstremalnych. Na podstawie literatury zwrócono też uwagę na ich uwarunkowania cyrkulacyjne oraz środowiskowe.Cechą charakterystyczną zachodzących zmian klimatu w Zakopanem jest ocieplenie objawiające się wzrostem zarówno średnich, minimalnych jak i maksymalnych wartości temperatury powietrza w wieloleciu 1921-2015. W przypadku opadów atmosferycznych przeprowadzona analiza nie wykazała istotnych statystycznie zmian w wielkości i ich charakterze. Stwierdzono jedynie kilkunastoletnie fluktuacje opadowe.

The thesis presents changes and variability of the climatic conditions of Zakopane based on principal meteorological elements such as air temperature and precipitation in the period of 1921-2015. The study was based on the original results of meteorological measurements with daily resolution. The analysis was made using the basic methods of climate change research. Particular attention was paid to the long-term trends of changes and the occurrence of extreme values. Based on the literature, attention has also been paid to their circulation and environmental conditions.The characteristic feature of the climate change that takes place in Zakopane is the warming manifested by an increase in average, minimum, and maximum values of air temperature in the years 1921-2015. In regards to precipitation, the analysis did not show any statistically significant changes in their size and nature, only several-year-long precipitation fluctuations.
