Kazimierz Piekarski (1893-1944) was a librarian and bibliographer who conducted research into the history of Polish typography, bookselling and readership. The article sheds light on the scholar's links with Krakow, including the period of his work for the Polish Academy of Arts and Sciences and the Jagiellonian Library. The article also presents the scholar's activity in the Book Lovers Society and the Bookplate Lovers Society.
