Motives for otherness and difference in literature for children and youth

Niniejsza praca ,,Motywy inności i odmienności w literaturze dla dzieci i młodzieży" składa się z sześciu rozdziałów. Pierwsze dwa zostały poświęcone zdefiniowaniu pojęć takich jak: inność i odmienność oraz ukazaniu ich jako faktu kulturowego. Rozdział trzeci opisuje portrety bohaterów literackich, a także postawy wobec nich. W rozdziale czwartym zostały zawarte wnioski z rozdziału poprzedniego, które prezentują postawy wobec innego. Rozdział piąty został poświęcony konspektom lekcyjnym, których zadaniem jest kształcenie postaw tolerancyjnych. Rozdział szósty zawiera wnioski oraz przemyślenia dotyczące pracy. Celem pracy jest szerzenie postaw tolerancyjnych wśród dzieci i młodzieży, a także wskazanie, że inność nie czyni nikogo gorszym. Bez względu na płeć, wiek, wyznanie czy niepełnosprawność każdemu należy się szacunek oraz akceptacja.

This work, The Motives of Otherness and Differences in Literature for Children and Young People, consists of six chapters. The first two were devoted to defining the concepts of otherness and difference and showing them as a cultural fact. The third chapter describes the portraits of literary characters and attitudes towards them The fourth chapter contains conclusions from the previous chapter, which present attitudes towards the other. The fifth chapter is devoted to lesson plans whose task is to develop tolerant attitudes. The sixth chapter contains conclusions and thoughts on work. The purpose of the work is to promote tolerance attitudes among children and young people and an indication that otherness does not make anyone worse. Regardless of gender, age, religion or disability, everyone deserves respect and acceptance.
