Local activities in the area of ​​air protection and its financing on the example of the Skała commune

Celem pracy była analiza działalności władz samorządowych w Polsce, w zakresie ochrony powietrza oraz sposoby jej finansowania. Praca zawiera omówienie wybranej jednostki samorządu terytorialnego oraz szczegółową analizę jej działalności w zakresie zwalczania zanieczyszczeń powietrza. W tym celu przeprowadzono w tej jednostce badania ilościowe i jakościowe z udziałem mieszkańców gminy i przedstawiciela jej władz. Badania te pozwoliły na wskazanie kierunków usprawnień, które badana jednostka powinna wdrożyć, aby skutecznej realizować swoje zadania z zakresu ochrony powietrza.

The aim of the work was to analyze the activity of local government authorities in Poland in the field of air protection and the methods of financing it. The work includes a discussion of a selected local government unit and a detailed analysis of its activities in the field of combating air pollution. For this purpose, quantitative and qualitative research was conducted in this unit with the participation of residents of the commune and a representative of its authorities. These studies allowed us to indicate directions of improvements that the audited entity should implement to effectively carry out its tasks in the field of air protection.
