W obszarze katastralnym Sidziny, w szczytowej partii Pastwowej Góry znajdują się oryginalne formy skałkowe, zwane przez mieszkańców wsi Laskową Skałą. Są one interesujące pod względem geologicznym i geomorfologicznym, powstały w wyniku intensywnych procesów erozji i wietrzenia, a przyjęły postać dwóch imponujących baszt skalnych o wymiarach: większa – 21 m długości i 6,3 m wysokości, mniejsza – 6 m długości i 5,2 m wysokości. Z Laskową Skałą wiążą się liczne podania i legendy ludowe. Jedna z najciekawszych opowiada o ukrytych tam skarbach, które ukazują się ludziom raz w roku, inne mówią o wychodzących ze skały „strachach” oraz o zbójnikach, którzy podziemnymi korytarzami przedostawali się spod Laskowej Skały na Babią Górę. Ciekawe, że legendarne wątki związane z Laskową Skałą mają bardzo szeroki zasięg występowania: nie tylko ogólnokarpacki, ale także ogólnopolski, ogólnoeuropejski, a nawet ogólnoazjatycki. Świadczy to o różnorodności żywiołu osadniczego, który napłynął na teren Sidziny, jak również o jej licznych kontaktach zewnętrznych, którym podlegała w przeszłości. Laskowa Skała i jej legendy ciągle tkwią w społecznej pamięci sidzinian. Aby ta pamięć, tradycja i kultura nie zaginęły, tutejsza gmina podejmuje szereg cennych inicjatyw. Należą do nich konkursy wiedzy o Sidzinie i jej legendach oraz publikacje na ten temat. Z tego samego powodu warto do Laskowej Skały poprowadzić szlak turystyczny i uczynić z niej atrakcję turystyczną. Autorzy podają propozycje wytyczenia takiego szlaku.

In the cadastral area of Sidzina, in the top part of the Pastwowa Góra hill, there are original rock forms which are called "Laskowa Skała" by local residents. These forms are interesting in geological and geomorphological terms since they were created as a result of intensive eroding and weathering processes and they took the shape of two impressive rock towers; the bigger one is 21 m long and 6.3 m high, and the smaller one is 6 m long and 5.2 m high. Numerous folk tales and legends are associated with Laskowa Skała. One of the most interesting legends tells the story of a hidden treasure that appears to people once a year; others speak of ghosts coming out of the rock and robbers who could make their way from Laskowa Skała to Babia Góra using underground corridors. It is interesting that the mythical motifs related to Laskowa Skała have a very wide range of occurrence – they can be found not only in the region of the Carpathian Mountains, but also all around Poland, Europe, and even in Asia. It demonstrates the diversity of the settlement process, which took place in Sidzina; it also proves that Sidzina used to have numerous contacts with other regions in the past. Laskowa Skała and its legends are still embedded in the social memory of Sidzina residents. In order to preserve this remembrance, tradition and culture, the local commune undertakes a number of valuable initiatives. They include contests of knowledge about Sidzina and its legends, as well as publications on the subject. For the same reason, it would be advisable to mark a tourist trail leading to Laskowa Skała so as to make it a tourist attraction. The authors provide some suggestions as to the marking of the proposed trail.
