Celem pracy jest przeanalizowanie symboliki zwierząt w „Przedsięwzięciach politycznych” (“Empresas políticas”, 1642) Diega de Saavedry Fajardo (1584-1648), aby ukazać jak staje się ona potężnym narzędziem parenetycznym dla wychowania księcia i kształtowania jego osobowości oraz jak owa symbolika zostaje wzmocniona poprzez wpływ sztuki i filozofii epoki baroku w tym dziele, które należy do literatury emblematycznej.
The objective of this work is analyze of the symbolism of animals in the "Political maxims" (“Empresas políticas”, 1642) of the baroque moralist Diego de Saavedra Fajardo (1584-1648) to demonstrate how it becomes a powerful parenetic tool for the education of the prince and for the formation of his personality, and how this symbolism is reinforced by the influence of baroque art and philosophy in his work, which belongs to the emblematic literature.
El propósito del trabajo es analizar el simbolismo animal en las “Empresas políticas” (1642) del moralista barroco Diego de Saavedra Fajardo (1584-1648) para demostrar cómo se convierte en una potente herramienta parenética para la educación del príncipe y la formación de su personalidad, y cómo dicho simbolismo es reforzado por la influencia del arte y la filosofía del Barroco en esta obra perteneciente a la literatura emblemática.
