Cinderella fairytale at school. Classic versions and modern variations of the motif.

Baśń o Kopciuszku stanowi cenną pozycję lekturową edukacji literackiej w szkole. Utwór posiada ogromny potencjał wychowawczy i edukacyjny, charakteryzując się wysoką jakością artystyczną, zarówno w wersji Perrault, jak i braci Grimm. Praca przedstawia historię motywu, który przyczynił się do powstania różnych wersji historii Kopciuszka, prezentując tło kulturowe, historyczne i literackie aktywności kolejnych twórców, podejmujących ten temat. Przedstawiono fabułę jako element tekstów kultury (literatura, film), ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem pojawiających się trawestacji, zmian konwencji, które podlegały analizie w celu odkrycia ich znaczenia jako znaków reform zachodzących w kulturze. Baśń została przenalizowana jako lektura szkolna, z uwzględnieniem możliwości wpisania jej w program nauczania i tematykę konkretnych lekcji w klasach IV-VI, mogących przyczyniać się do pełniejszego realizowania założeń podstawy programowej nauczania języka polskiego w szkole podstawowej.

The fairytale about Cinderella is an incredibly valuable reading for literary education at school. This piece of literary work holds a great educational and pedagogical value, whilst at the same time being characterised by very high artistic quality, not only in the Perrault’s version, but also Grimm’s one. This masterpiece introduces a history of the motif which contributed to the creation of different versions of the Cinderella’s story, presenting the cultural, historical and literary background for subsequent authors adopting this topic. Presenting the plot as an element of literary texts ( such as film and literature) with particular reference to emerging travesties, convention’s development, which were analyzed with the aim of discovering as signs of reforms occurring in culture. The fairytale was scrutinized as a set text considering a possibility of being included in curriculum, as well as the topics of specific lessons in classes from IV to VI, that may add to the more complete implementation of the objectives of the educational program of the Polish language in elementary school.
