Peace operations of United Nations. Case of Cambodia

Celem poniższej pracy jest przedstawienie charakterystyki operacji pokojowej na przykładzie operacji zorganizowanej pod auspicjami Organizacji Narodów Zjednoczonych w Kambodży w latach dziewięćdziesiątych. W pracy opisane zostały podstawy prawno-międzynarodowe operacji pokojowych, jej rodzaje oraz scharakteryzowane rezolucje powołujące konkretne operacje. Główną część pracy zajmuje opis historii Kambodży, przyczyn powstania zaistniałej sytuacji oraz przebieg działań ONZ w tym regionie.

The purpose of the following work is to present the characteristics of a operations on the example of an operation organized under the auspices of the United Nations in Cambodia in the nineties. The work describes the legal and international basis of operations, its types and characteristic resolutions, which established specific operations. The main part of the work is to describe the history of Cambodia, the reasons for the emergence of the situation and the course of UN activities in this region.
