The allegorizing of early Christianity. The Song of Songs as an example of an allegorical interpretation of the classical text.

Celem pracy jest przedstawienie kwestii alegorii kompozycyjnej oraz (i przede wszystkim) hermeneutycznej w epoce patrystycznej. Zwraca ona uwagę na wzajemne oddziaływanie na siebie dwóch formacji intelektualnych: antycznej i chrześcijańskiej. Przybliża również postaci ważniejszych egzegetów religii monoteistycznych, jak Filona Aleksandryjskiego w tradycji żydowskiej, czy Klemensa i Orygenesa w wierze chrześcijańskiej. W pracy poddany jest również analizie biblijny poemat ,,Pieśni nad Pieśniami". Interpretacja tekstu kanonicznego przedstawiona jest według koncepcji wybitnego Ojca Kościoła Wschodniego, Orygenesa.

The aim of the following work is to present the issue of the compositional and, what is more important, hermeneutical allegory in patristic age. This work notes the mutual influence of two intelectual formations: antique and Christian. It shows figures of monotheistic religion's exegets like Filon Alexandrian in Jewish faith or Clemens and Origen in Christian tradition. There was carried an analyse of The Song of Songs through and introduced an interpretation of the clasiscial text according to the leading Church Father, Origin.
