Dramatherapy as a form and method of cultural animation – theory and practice (illustrated with an example of amateur theatres in Opole)

Praca ta ma na celu przedstawienie w jaki sposób jest wykorzystywana teatroterapia jako forma oraz metoda animacji kultury w wybranych teatrach amatorskich w Opolu. Podjęłam się takiego tematu pracy, ponieważ jako animator kultury chcę w sposób świadomy rozwijać potencjał twórczy drzemiący w każdym człowieku.W niniejszej pracy opiszę różne rodzaje terapii poprzez sztukę, ale najbardziej się skupię na teatroterapii. Jest to terapia przez teatr, która stanowi narzędzie do wewnętrznego wzrostu, samorozwoju człowieka oraz zwiększa jego kompetencje społeczne. Realizacja zadań teatralnych, opierających się na pracy indywidualnej bądź grupowej, korzystnie wpływa na rozwój emocjonalny człowieka, poprawia jego samopoczucie i rozwija wyobraźnię. Proces teatroterapeutyczny uzupełnia formy interwencji pedagogicznej i psychologicznej.Badania przeprowadzono w trzech opolskich teatrach amatorskich metodą monografii pedagogicznej.

The aim of this paper is to show the application of dramatherapy as a form and method of cultural animation in selected amateur drama groups in Opole. This subject was taken up by me, because as a cultural animator, I strive to consciously develop the creative potential inherent in every individual.This paper discusses various types of art therapy, with an emphasis on dramatherapy – a type of therapy using theatre, which serves as a tool for internal growth and self-development of individuals and increases their social competencies. Carrying out a variety of tasks in theatre, based both on individual, as well as group work, has a positive impact on the emotional development of an individual, improves their well-being and develops imagination. The therapeutic process complements the forms of pedagogical and psychological intervention.The research was carried out in three amateur drama groups in Opole using a pedagogical monograph method.
