The comedy in tele-world. The humor in the Argentine telenovela "Sos mi vida"

Celem niniejszej pracy magisterskiej jest analiza argentyńskiej telenoweli ,,Jesteś moim życiem" pod względem zawartego w niej komizmu. Wobec powyższego, w pierwszej części pracy kompleksowo opisaliśmy problematykę telenoweli, definiując ją a następnie prezentując jej historię oraz źródła, które sięgają XIX wieku kiedy to swoje początki miała powieść w odcinkach, uważana za jej prekursora. Następnie, przedstawiliśmy rozwój telenoweli na przestrzeni lat oraz jej główne cechy i typy poszczególnych telenowel w krajach latynoamerykańskich. Została również poruszona kwestia fenomenu samej telenoweli, gdyż wciąż bynajmniej, nie jest doceniana a wręcz przeciwnie stanowi część sporną a nawet wstydliwą wśród społeczeństwa, mimo posiadania ogromnej publiki. W dalszej kolejności staraliśmy się przedstawić istotę komizmu, poszukując jego stałej definicji oraz metod jakie stosuję się w celu wywołania efektu komizmu. Ta część pracy w dużej mierze opiera się na badaniach Bohdana Dziemidoka poprzez skomplikowany i heterogeniczny charakter komizmu. Wobec powyższego, uznając wersję Dziemidoka za najbardziej przejrzystą, przedstawiliśmy zaproponowany przez niego podział tychże metod. Później, zostały opisane rodzaje oraz formy komizmu. Wszystko po to, aby w dalszej części pracy można było przystąpić do analizy komizmu zawartego w telenoweli. W części praktycznej pracy przeszliśmy do analizy wybranych fragmentów dzieła jak i również opisaliśmy bohaterów, którzy wyróżniają się pod względem humoru. Ponadto, aby przybliżyć czytelnikom humorystykę dzieła zostały dołączone zdjęcia przedstawiające zabawny i wielobarwny świat bohaterów "Jesteś moim życiem". Wybrane sceny prezentowały szeroki wachlarz metod wywołania efektu komizmu, między innymi zostały zaprezentowane sytuacje nierealne i niedorzeczne przekoloryzowane aż do granic absurdu. Ponadto, zacytowaliśmy ironiczne i bezczelne wypowiedzi bohaterów. We wnioskach staraliśmy się udowodnić, że zaprezentowana analiza potwierdza tezę, iż świat "tasiemców" wcale nie musi być ciężki i nudny. Wręcz przeciwnie, telenowela może przedstawiać piękną, romantyczną historię miłosną, której tło stanowi humor. Dzięki temu widzowie mogą śledzić losy bohaterów i ich romansu nie przestając się uśmiechać.

The objective of this master thesis is the analysis of the comedy in the Argentine telenovela "You Are the One".In the first part of the work, we comprehensively have described the telenovela, defining it and then presenting its history and sources that date back to the nineteenth century, when its origins had a novel in episodes, considered as its precursor. Then, we have presented the development of the telenovela over the years and its main features and types of the telenovelas in Latin American countries. We have also commented the phenomenon of telenovela itselfs because of the controversy that the one induces by beeing considarate as a shameful subject by the main part of society, despite having a huge audience.Next, we have tried to present the essence of comedy, looking for its constant definition and methods that are used to create the effect of comedy. This part of the work is largely based on Bohdan Dziemidok's research through the complex and heterogeneous nature of comedy. In view of the above, considering the version of Dziemidok as the most transparent, we have presented the proposed division of these methods. Later, the types and forms of comedy have been described. All this so that in the further part of the work one could begin to analyze the comedy contained in the telenovela.In the practical part of the work, we have gone on to analyze the selected fragments of the telenovela and also have described the characters who stand out in terms of humor. In addition, to bring readers closer to the humorics of the work we have presented the photos depicting the funny and colorful world of "You Are the One". Selected scenes presented a wide range of methods of inducing the effect of comedy, among others, unreal and ridiculous situations have been presented. In addition, we have quoted the ironic and audacious statements of the personages.In the conclusions, we have tried to prove that the presented analysis confirms the thesis that the world of the telenovelas does not have to be heavy and boring. On the contrary, the telenovela can depict a beautiful, romantic love story whose background is humor. Thanks to this, viewers can follow the fate of the heroes and their romance without stopping smiling.

El objetivo principal de este trabajo es el análisis de la comicidad incluida en la telenovela argentina "Sos mi vida". En el primer lugar, se ha presentado la telenovela, definiéndola y asimismo presentando su historia y sus antecedentes tales como la novela por entregas que tuvo su origen ya en el siglo XIX. Luego, se ha mostrado el desarrollo de la telenovela a lo largo de los años describiendo sus rasgos principales y tipos de la misma en los países latinoamericanos. Además, se ha comentado el fenómeno de la telenovela en sí misma debido a las controversias que induce al ser considerado un tema de vergüenza, a pesar de poseer un público numeroso. A continuación, se ha intentado describir la comicidad buscando su definición fija y los métodos que se utilizan con el fin de producir el efecto de la misma. Esta parte del trabajo se basa, principalmente, en la investigación propuesta por Bohdan Dziemidok debido al complejo y heterogéneo carácter de la comicidad. Por lo tanto, considerando la versión de Dziemidok como la más transparente, se ha presentado la división de dichos métodos. Luego, se ha descrito los tipos y formas de la comicidad. Todo esto con el fin de posteriormente proceder con el análisis del humor en la telenovela elegida. En la parte práctica del trabajo, se ha analizado los fragmentos seleccionados de la telenovela y de igual manera se ha descrito los personajes sobresalientes en cuanto al humor. Además, se ha presentado las imágenes provenientes de la obra con el fin de mostrar el mundo colorido y divertido de "Sos mi vida". Las escenas seleccionadas han presentado un complejo de los métodos de producir el efecto de la comicidad, entre otras, se ha mostrado situaciones irreales y ridículas frecuentemente expuestos con exageración ya hasta el punto de absurdidad. Además, se ha citado los diálogos irónicos y groseros.En las conclusiones, se ha tratado de demostrar que el análisis presentado confirma la tesis de que el mundo de ¨los culebrones¨ no tiene por qué ser pesado y aburrido. Por el contrario, la telenovela puede representar una bella y romántica historia de amor cuyo fondo constituye el humor. Gracias a esto, los espectadores pueden seguir el destino de los personajes y su romance sin dejar de sonreír.
