Niniejsza praca magisterska skupia się na analizie reportaży wojennych autorstwa Oriany Fallaci i Moniki Warneńskiej. We wstępie informuję o tematyce mojej pracy oraz podaję jej strukturę. W pierwszym rozdziale skupiam się na zdefiniowaniu pojęcia reportażu, przedstawieniu jego typów oraz wyznaczników. Opisuję również słynnych korespondentów wojennych, ich cechy oraz przedstawiam pojęcie „new journalism” oraz „non fiction novel”. W drugim rozdziale przedstawiam zarys historii wojny w Wietnamie, udział mediów w konflikcie i jego odbiór na świecie oraz opisuję syndrom wietnamski. W kolejnych dwóch rozdziałach analizuję 4 reportaże biorąc pod uwagę m.in aspekt kobiecy, ludzki oraz postawę dziennikarską. We wnioskach podkreślam cechy wspólne obu reporterek oraz różnice ich dzielące.

This Masters's thesis is focused on the analysis war reportages of Oriana Fallaci and Monika Warneńska. In the first chapter I focus on definition of the reportage, it’s meaning and types. I present the most famous war correspondents and their characteristic as well as description of new journalism and non fiction novel. In the second chapter present the history of Vietnam war, the presence of media and Vietnam Syndrome. Then I analize 4 reportages considering the female, human and journalistic aspects. The conclusions emphasize that both correspondents atributes of great reporter and have many things in common.

La mia tesi tratta dei reportage di guerra di Oriana Fallaci e Monika Warneńska. All’inizio spiego il significato e la storia del termine e presento tipi e caratteristiche di esso. Poi presento famosi reporter di guerra e descrivo gli attributi di un buon reporter e spiego il termine “il nuovo giornalismo”. Descrivo la storia del conflitto del Vietnam, la presenza dei mass media durante la guerra e presento il termine “La sindrome del Vietnam”. Dopo a seconda parte della mia tesi è dedicata all’analisi dei 4 reportage secondo la chiave umana, femminile e giornalistica. Alla fine, descrivo l’influsso di queste 4 opere sulla loro vita e sottolineo che entrambe le inviate hanno le caratteristiche di un buon reporter e rimangono fedeli alle proprie convinzioni.
