The research on essence and methods of detecting economic crime

Przestępstwa gospodarcze od czasów gospodarki wolnorynkowej wpływają negatywnie na rozwój rynków finansowych ponieważ działają destrukcyjnie na gospodarkę kraju. Oszustwa finansowe dokonane na osobach fizycznych powoduję starty finansowe z powodu złego zarządzania swoim majątkiem poprzez posiadanie fałszywych informacji. Celem anihilacji tych zachowań jest ochrona przedsiębiorstw oraz osób fizycznych. Rolę w ich wykrywaniu pełnią prawnicy, menadżerowie, audytorzy, policja, prokuratorzy oraz inne wyspecjalizowane jednostki. Celem pracy jest wskazanie istoty , badań i metody wykrywania przestępczości gospodarczej oraz najnowszych badań jej skali. Metody jakie wykorzystano przy tworzeniu pracy to przegląd literatury przedmiotu w tym najnowszych badań prowadzony przez Price Waterhouse Coopers (PWC) oraz nauki empiryczne.

Ever since the times of free market economy economic crimes have had a lasting negative impact on development of financial markets. Furthermore Economic Crimes pose a direct threat to economy of countries. Financial fraud executed on individuals endure systemic financial loss, due to poor property management caused by false spread of information. The objective standing behind annihilation of these behaviors is the protection of enterprise and personal property. Lawyers, managers, auditors, police, prosecutors and other specialized units - all serve policing role in detection of these crimes. The aim of this study is to perform a research on Economic Crime and its nature, including its detection methods as well as measurement of its scope and size. Secondary methods have been used in conducting this study and those include literature review, the latest research conducted by Price Waterhouse Coopers (PWC) as well as empirical science.
