Bible publications for children in Poland in 1945–1989

Praca podejmuje temat publikacji Biblii dla dzieci w Polsce w latach 1945–1989. Jej częścią składową jest analiza poszczególnych tytułów pod kątem dostosowania tekstu kanonicznego do młodego odbiorcy. Przetworzenie to może być trojakie. Część twórców decyduje się na wydanie wybranych fragmentów kanonu (lub ich parafraz), dodając do nich jedynie ilustracje. Inni dokonują adaptacji przy jednoczesnym nawiązaniu do licznych informacji popularnonaukowych przydatnych w jego zrozumieniu, efektem czego pozycje nabierają charakteru dydaktycznego. Trzecim sposobem na zaadaptowanie tekstu do dziecka jest dążenie ku pełnej fabularyzacji wybranych opowieści biblijnych. Wydawcy przy pomocy elementów składowych książki takich jak: warstwa tekstowa, organizacja treści, ilustracje czy format realizują założone cele.

The research deals with the topic of Bible publications for children in Poland in the years 1945–1989. The main component is the analysis of individual titles in terms of adapting the canonical text to a young recipient. This transformation can be threefold. Some creators decide to release selected fragments of the canon (or their paraphrases) while adding illustrations. Others make adaptations while referring to a lot of popular science information useful in understanding it, the effect of which positions take on a didactic character. The third way to adapt the text to a child is to strive for the full fictionalization of selected biblical stories. Publishers using the components of a book such as: text layer, content organization, illustrations or format realize the goals.
