Praca opisuje sposoby kreacji początków rodów szlacheckich. Wykorzystano w niej przykłady legend herbowych zaczerpniętych z prac Bartosza Paprockiego, Szymona Okolskiego i Kaspra Niesieckiego. Ze względu na różne wieki powstania wspomnianych prac heraldycznych, dają możliwość prześledzenia ewolucji omawianych legend herbowych.
The work describes the ways of creating the beginnings of noble families. Some examples of the legends coat of arms derived from the works of Bartosz Paprocki, Szymon Okolski and Kasper Niesiecki were used. Due to the different centuries of the creation of these heraldic works, they give the opportunity to trace the evolution of the aforementioned coat-of-arms legends.
