Mit o Ikarze w wierszu Sigfrida Lindströma „Ikaros”

The myth of Icarus in Sigfrid Lindström's poem "Ikaros"

Celem niniejszej pracy jest zbadanie literackiego dialogu pomiędzy owidiuszową wersją mitu o Ikarze, opisaną w ósmej księdze „Metamorfoz”, a wierszem Sigfrida Lindströma „Ikaros”. W rozdziałach poświęconych analizie zostały wykorzystane dwie metody powiązane z teorią mitu – metoda motywiczna oraz metoda oniryczna opierająca się na dziele Gastona Bachelarda „Powietrze i marzenia”. Praca zakończona jest podsumowaniem, w którym zaprezentowane są wyniki badania.

The aim of this thesis is to investigate the literary relations between myth of Icarus and Sigfrid Lindström's poem ”Ikaros”. The mythological basis of this analysis is set in Ovid's Metamorphoses. The analysis included in the second and third chapter is conducted with two methods related to myth theory – motif method and oneiric method based on Gaston Bachelard's Air and Dreams. The thesis is concluded with the summary of the analysis’ results.

Syftet med denna uppsats är att undersöka relationer mellan den ovidianska versionen av Ikarosmyten återgiven i Metamorfoser och Sigfrid Lindströms ”Ikaros”. Dikten öppnar en mycket komplex dialog med myten som kräver specialiserade analytiska verktyg. Jag har valt två av dem som jag tycker är mest relevanta för mitt syfte och det är den motiviska metoden och den oniriska metoden baserad på Gaston Bachelards Luften och drömmandet. Uppsatsen avslutas med sammanfattningen av analysens resultat.
