Amanita phalloides poisoning - case study

Niniejsza praca prezentuje przypadek mężczyzny zatrutego muchomorem sromotnikowym. W pierwszej części przedstawiam charakterystykę grzyba – jego wygląd i porównanie z podobnymi gatunkami jadalnymi, zawarte w nim toksyny, mechanizm ich działania oraz wpływ na organizm ludzki. W drugiej części opisuję przebieg zatrucia oraz zalecane postępowanie przedszpitalne i leczenie szpitalne. Trzecia część poświęcona jest opisowi przypadku pacjenta zatrutego muchomorem sromotnikowym. Przedstawiono drogę pacjenta od przyjazdu Zespołu Ratownictwa Medycznego, przez Szpitalny Oddział Ratunkowy, aż po pobyt w Oddziale Toksykologii. W dalszej części przeanalizowane zostały zlecone badania oraz ich wyniki.

These theses present the case of a patient poisoned with Amanita phalloides fungus. In the first part, I present the characteristics of the fungus, its appearance, the comparison with similar edible species, the toxins contained therein, the mechanism of their action and their impact on the human body. In the second part, I describe the course of poisoning and the recommended pre-hospital and hospital procedures and treatment. The third part is devoted to the description of the case of a patient poisoned with Amanita phalloides fungus. The patient's fate is presented from the arrival of the Emergency Medical Team, through the Hospital Emergency Department to the stay in the Toxicology Department. I analyze the medical tests and the treatment.
